Mormugao Port completes major digital upgrade

 

Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) has declared the Go-Live of its upgraded SAP S/4 HANA ERP system. This marked the successful completion of its migration from SAP ECC 6.0 SOH to Rise with SAP S/4 HANA Private Cloud Edition. MPA had earlier created history by becoming the first Major Port to implement SAP ERP ECC 6.0 in December 2009. 

With this latest upgrade, MPA continues to lead the way in adopting cutting-edge technology in the Indian port sector. The Go-Live function was chaired by MPA Chairperson Mr N. Vinod Kumar in the presence of MPA Deputy Chairperson Mr Vinayaka Rao, department heads, senior officers, the in-house IT team, and the Highbar Technocrat team, as per a report.
