VOC Port says export and import cycle dwell time least among Indian ports

V. O. Chidambaranar Port (VOC Port) has highlighted in a communique that its export and import cycle dwell time is the least among Indian ports. * VOC Port Export Dwell Time: 64.4 hours (PAN India 87.0 hours * VOC Port Import Dwell Time: 20.0 hours (PAN India 29.3 hours) The port’s export cycle dwell time improved by 24% in April 2025 with the commencement of Direct Port Entry (DPE) facility. This enhancement facilitates faster movement of containers to the terminals, boosting overall port efficiency, said a release.
