Ministry charting the course for India’s shipbuilding future through ISTC

 

The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways is establishing the Indian Ship Technology Centre (ISTC), a Centre of Excellence under the Indian Maritime University, dedicated exclusively to strengthening the technical, design and service ecosystem of shipbuilding.

This was disclosed at a recent workshop organised by the Ministry, that served as a platform for dialogue, collaboration and co-creation among stakeholders and industry experts, gathering valuable insights to drive India’s maritime vision forward, said a release.
