VOC Port's Direct Port Entry facilities boosting speed and efficiency

The newly launched Direct Port Entry facilities at V. O. Chidambaranar Port (VOC Port) enable quick and efficient access to container traffic. The mammoth facility, spanning 9,170 square metres, will witness development of the following infrastructure: * Godown for storage * Inspection platform *Weighbridge * 10 reefer points to handle temperature-controlled cargo This is closely aligned with the government’s Ease of Doing Business policy framework.
