VOC Port launches pioneering AI platform

V. O. Chidambaranar (VOC) Port Authority in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, has become India’s first Major Port to deploy an enterprise-grade generative artificial intelligence platform via its new “PortGPT” mobile application. Launched by Union Minister Mr Sarbananda Sonowal, the app is designed to elevate operational efficiency, knowledge management and data-driven decision-making, supporting the port’s long-term Smart Port and Digital Twin vision, highlighted a report.
