Vadhvan Port inks MoU with Rural Enhancers Projects for development of terminal

Vadhvan Port Project Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rural Enhancers Projects Pvt. Ltd for the development of a terminal at Vadhvan Port. The terminal will be equipped to handle containers, bulk and liquid cargo, while also developing world class infrastructure to support marine services and intermodal connectivity. This strategic collaboration also emphasises sustainability through digital solutions, a robust IT framework, and focused initiatives for manpower training and skill development. The MoU was exchanged between Mr Unmesh Sharad Wagh, IRS, Chairperson, JNPA and CMD, VPPL, and Mr Ambar Ayade, Managing Director & CEO, Rural Enhancers Group, at the 36th Foundation Day celebrations of JNPA on May 26, 2025. “We are proud to take a significant step toward the development of Vadhvan Port, poised to become India’s next mega port,” emphasised a communique.
