Textile Industry Sets $100 billion Export Target by 2030, Seeks Policy Boost

The Textile and Apparel Industry has worked out a five point agenda to achieve a target of $100 billion in exports by year 2030. The industry has asked to ensure the removal of 10% import duty from cotton fibres of all varieties to enhance the cost competitiveness of the entire chain of cotton value.
