Southern India Consolidators Association launched to supercharge the Southern Logistics & Consolidation Industry

The Southern India logistics and consolidation fraternity is set to witness a significant milestone with the official launch of the Southern India Consolidators Association (SICA). This new industry body has been established to formally represent, protect, and promote the interests of consolidators and logistics service providers across the southern region, according to a release.

SICA has been formed with the vision of creating a unified platform for consolidators, fostering deep industry collaboration, addressing shared operational challenges, and contributing meaningfully to the growth and structural development of India’s logistics and EXIM trade ecosystem.

The upcoming launch event will bring together leading stakeholders from the shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC), customs brokerage, and allied sectors. The occasion marks the beginning of a collective effort to strengthen industry representation, facilitate cross-sectoral knowledge sharing, and promote constructive engagement with trade and regulatory authorities.
