Saudi ports handle more containers in Oct.

The ports supervised by the Saudi Ports Authority “Mawani” recorded a 12.19% increase in container throughput during October 2025, reaching 709,393 TEUs, compared to 632,323 TEUs in the same period of the previous year. Transhipment containers also rose by 38.68%, totalling 179,283 TEUs compared to 129,274 TEUs last year. Total cargo tonnage, including general cargo, dry bulk and liquid bulk, increased by 6.93%, reaching 21,808,304 tons compared to 20,394,576 tons during the same period last year, highlighted a release.
