Samudera launches new IRS service connecting Nhava Sheva and Mundra to Sokhna, Egypt

Samudera has announced an expanded shipping network with the official launch of the new IRS service, connecting the key Indian ports of Nhava Sheva and Mundra to Sokhna, Egypt. 

Service highlights

* Port rotation: Nhava Sheva (INNSA) – Mundra (INMUN) – Sokhna (EGSOK) – Nhava 

Sheva (INNSA)

* Transit time: Approximately 15 days from Nhava Sheva to Sokhna

* Service frequency: Fortnightly

The terminals served are BMCT at Nhava Sheva, MICT at Mundra and DP World at Sokhna.

In addition to offering a dependable direct route between West India and Egypt, the new IRS service significantly enhances the line’s existing service network through Nhava Sheva, further strengthening connectivity with the Indian market.

The maiden voyage of the service will commence in Nhava Sheva with Lan Hai Zhi Yuan 011W, ETA October 1, 2026, as per a communique.
