Palghar region near Vadhvan Port proposed to be developed into a major economic hub

In what is being seen as a significant step forward for the visionary Vadhvan Port project, Mr Ganesh Naik, Forest Minister, GoM & Guardian Minister of Palghar District, chaired a review meeting emphasising the potential to transform the Palghar region into a major economic hub. The meeting, attended by Mr Unmesh Sharad Wagh, IRS, Chairman of JNPA & CMD, Vadhvan Port Project Ltd (VPPL), and senior officials, focused on accelerating implementation and strengthening stakeholder coordination for smooth progress, as per a communique.
