Pace picking up in the final leg of WDFC

 

The momentum is building on the final stretch of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC), Vaitarna-Kharbao-JNPA, covering a vital 102 RKM segment, which is fast nearing completion.

This key section will significantly enhance connectivity between the hinterland and JNPA, India’s premier container port, revolutionising freight logistics and boosting the nation’s economic backbone, emphasised a Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd (DFCCIL) communique.

As per an estimate, the WDFC is expected to be fully complete by the end of this year.
