OECL inaugurates Storage & Distribution Centre in Chennai

 

OECL Shipping & Logistics Pvt Ltd proudly inaugurated a dedicated Storage and Distribution Centre for Gainwell Commosales Pvt Ltd, located at Kunnam, Kanchipuram, Chennai, on 25th July 2025, as per a release.

The inauguration was graced by senior officials from Gainwell Commosales Pvt Ltd, Caterpillar India Pvt Ltd, OECL’s management, valued business partners, and team members.

This state-of-the-art yard facility, spread across 83,000 sq. ft., is equipped with modern infrastructure including a PDI shed, washing pad, ramp, ETP system, fire-fighting setup, office space, customer lounge, and enhanced security systems – designed to support seamless operations and customer service.

This facility is part of OECL’s long-standing partnership with Gainwell Commosales Pvt Ltd, one of India’s leading distributors of Caterpillar’s earthmoving and construction equipment. OECL will manage the complete yard operations for Gainwell, including the receipt of machines, conducting pre-dispatch inspections, and distributing them across pan-India destinations within their dealership territory.
