Mumbai Port Chairperson hosts National Shipping Board Chairman for discussion on port’s future vision

Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA) last week welcomed Mr Sameer Kumar Khare, IAS (Retd.), Chairman, National Shipping Board (NSB), along with Mr Shantanu Kalita, Member, NSB, for a strategic meeting with Dr Madhaiyaan Angamuthu, IAS, Chairperson, MbPA.
The discussions focused on the future vision and roadmap for Mumbai Port, covering the goal of cargo and cruise development while aligning with the larger Masterplan of 2047.
Key themes discussed included overall current profile of Mumbai Port, along with the future vision and Masterplan centred around Liquid Bulk, RoRo, Ship Repair and Cruise.
Mumbai Port Authority appreciates the guidance of the National Shipping Board and looks forward to sustained engagement in driving the port’s long-term vision, emphasised a communique.
