Mumbai Port achieves highest ever cargo throughput and double digit growth in fiscal

Mumbai Port has achieved a spectacular milestone—surpassing 75 MMT against the Ministry’s target of 72.20 MMT for 2025-26.

This landmark accomplishment stands as a shining testimony of the relentless dedication, teamwork and excellence of the trade fraternity of Mumbai Port, and the drive and zeal of the port under the able stewardship of the Deputy Chairperson and Chairperson.

The impressive double digit growth (10.38%) has resulted in the highest ever cargo throughput, with the port all set to etch a new record in tonnage handled for the fiscal. Another remarkable chapter in its glorious history spanning over 150 years, emphasised a communique.
