Mumbai Clean Cargo Terminal, at Mumbai Port, has welcomed M.V. ZHIDA 3, the first vessel to berth at the terminal, marking the official commencement of operations on July 1, 2026.

J M Baxi Ports and Logistics Private Limited had recently signed an Operation and Maintenance Agreement with the Mumbai Port Authority for Integrated Cargo Handling Operations at Indira Dock Berths (Cluster 1). Under this agreement, the company will operate and manage the Mumbai Clean Cargo Terminal for an initial period of 10 years, extendable by a further 5 years.

The first vessel call marks the beginning of its journey to deliver safe, efficient and customer-centric cargo handling services, while strengthening India’s maritime and logistics ecosystem, highlighted a J M Baxi Group communique.
