Kamarajar Port achieves windmill blade handling milestone

It was a proud moment for Kamarajar Port when “K” Line India successfully handled India’s first-ever RoRo shipment of 28.35-metre windmill blades at the General Cargo berth of the port.

Handled as over-dimensional cargo using 80-ft MAFI trailers and transported aboard RoRo vessel M.V. Olympian Highway, this milestone marks a major leap for clean energy logistics in India, emphasised a communique.
