JNPA enhances operations by implementing real-time digital ecosystem

Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) has moved decisively towards a paperless, real-time digital ecosystem, strengthening transparency, operational efficiency and performance monitoring across marine operations.

Through an indigenously developed Harbour Management System (HMS), the implementation of iVTS and the JNPA Pilot Thagaval App, vessel movements, pilotage and logistics assets were digitally tracked and integrated with national platforms—enhancing decision-making, reducing delays and elevating JNPA’s global performance benchmarks, highlighted a communique.
