JNPA and Vadhvan Port ink MoU for hyperloop-based high-speed cargo movement

Mr Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, graced the MoU signing between JNPA and Vadhvan Port Project Ltd and TuTr Hyperloop Pvt. Ltd in presence of Mr Unmesh Sharad Wagh, IRS, Chairperson, JNPA and CMD, VPPL, and other senior officials to bring hyperloop-based high-speed cargo movement into India’s maritime logistics. 

By cutting down cargo travel time, improving turnaround and reducing emissions, this futuristic system will not only make Indian trade faster and greener but also ensure that goods—from daily essentials to global exports—reach markets more quickly and efficiently. 

This step positions JNPA at the forefront of smart, sustainable port operations, where both businesses and citizens benefit from speed, reliability and cleaner logistics, highlighted a release.
