IWAI deploying hybrid electric catamarans on National Waterways

Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) has taken a significant step towards sustainable transportation with the deployment of hybrid electric catamarans on National Waterways. One of the six vessels built at HCSL is currently moving towards Patna in Bihar - set to be positioned in NW-1. These eco-friendly vessels aim to reduce carbon emissions and promote efficient travel on India’s waterways, highlighted a communique.
