Yemen’s Houthi rebels are signalling they’ve stopped their attacks against Israel and shipping in the Red Sea as a shaky ceasefire holds in the Gaza Strip. In an undated letter published online by the group, they offered their clearest signal that their attacks have halted. The letter, from the Houthi military chief of staff, said that the Houthis are closely monitoring developments and declared that if aggression resumes against Gaza, they will return to military operations and reinstate the ban on Israeli navigation in the Red and Arabian Seas.
Since a ceasefire in the Gaza war began on October 10, no attacks have been claimed by the rebel group, as per a report.
