First-ever stern operation at Nhava Sheva Distribution Terminala

A proud milestone as the Nhava Sheva Distribution Terminal (NSDT) at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority successfully supported its first-ever stern load-in and load-out operation for the Meram project in April-May 2025. Handled by J M Baxi Heavy, three heavy-lift cargo units, each weighing over 518 MT and stretching 67.84 metres in length, were safely discharged from Godrej Dahej and transported via barge to NSDT, where they were rolled onto a RoRo vessel using SPMT axles. All operations were executed seamlessly, in floating conditions, without disrupting regular port activities - showcasing precision engineering and operational excellence, highlighted a release.
