A transformative step in supply chain efficiency
It was a landmark moment this week at Deendayal Port Authority (DPA), Kandla when it proudly welcomed MV Capetan Vassilis II, India’s first Premium Products vessel, berthed at Cargo Jetty No. 02, Kandla.
For the first time, premium crop nutrition products, traditionally moved in containers, are now being shipped via a bulk carrier, marking a transformative step in supply chain efficiency.
This milestone strengthens DPA’s role in enabling high-quality agri supply chains and supporting India’s farmers, highlighted an official communique.
The importer was YARA and the stevedore Rishi Shipping.
