DFCCIL moves closer to commissioning the final stretch of WDFC

DFCCIL has achieved a significant breakthrough on the Vaitarna-JNPA section of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC).
Mr Vikas Kumar, CGM/Mumbai, along with senior officers Mr H. G. Tiwari, GGM/Electrical; Mr Dayanand Kumar, Dy. CPM/EL; Mr D. K. Yadav, Dy. CPM/S&T; and Nr S. K. Mohanty, PM/Civil, successfully conducted a trial run of electric locomotive between Vaitarna and New Kharbav (30 km) on both Up and Down lines in the Vaitarna-JNPA section of DFCCIL.

This achievement marks a crucial step toward the commissioning of the last remaining section of the WDFC, highlighted a communique.
