Delhi Inland Container Terminal embraces sustainable logistics model

In a landmark moment for Green Logistics, the J M Baxi Group’s Delhi Inland Container Terminal, Sonepat, proudly hosted the inauguration of India’s first Public Heavy Duty Commercial Vehicle Battery Swapping cum Charging Station and the flagging off of the EIM - Foton Electric Swappable Heavy Duty Tractor Trailer on October 8, 2025.
The occasion was graced by Mr Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, and Mr H. D. Kumaraswamy, Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Steel, whose leadership inspires India’s green mobility mission.
Delhi Inland Container Terminal is proud to be North India’s first terminal embracing this sustainable logistics model powering the future of clean, efficient transport, it emphasised in a communique.
