CWC flags off first Parcel Cargo Rake from Chennai to Delhi

In collaboration with Indian Railways

It was a proud moment for the Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE), when the first Parcel Cargo Rake (VPU+SLR) was successfully flagged off from Chennai to Okhla (Delhi), carrying tyres, in collaboration with Indian Railways. 

This milestone marks a significant boost to India’s multimodal logistics network and reinforces CWC’s commitment towards strengthening the nation’s supply chain ecosystem, it emphasised in a communique. 

It aligns with the objective of CWC to provide reliable, cost-effective, value-added, integrated warehousing and logistics solutions in a socially responsible and environment-friendly manner.
