Andhra Pradesh’s proposed AP LinC to integrate ports, airports, roads, inland waterways and cold storage facilities into a unified logistics ecosystem

Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, has approved the establishment of the AP Logistics Infrastructure Corporation (AP LinC), a new government-owned entity designed to integrate Andhra Pradesh’s ports, airports, roads, inland waterways and cold storage facilities into a unified logistics ecosystem. The corporation will be headed by a Managing Director and will focus on attracting large-scale investments, enhancing efficiency and reducing logistics costs across the state. 

During a review meeting at the Secretariat, Mr Naidu emphasised that AP LinC will catalyse the development of world class logistics infrastructure and support district-level initiatives to promote the sector. He reiterated his vision to position Andhra Pradesh as the gateway to India’s East Coast, backed by robust standards, modern connectivity and expanded maritime capacity, as per a report.
